Apparently it was released on blu-ray a few years ago for a short time and subsequently was going on ebay for around $100 since they didn’t keep making more. There was no way I was going to spend that so I figured I’d wait. I’m glad I did because this is blu-ray and digital. We tend to only use digital in our house because it’s just easier.

Synopsis. Though Willow was one of director Ron Howard's few box-office disappointments, it definitely deserves a second look. At once an epic celebration and a gentle spoof of the sword-and-sorcery genre, the film concerns the efforts by little person Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) to protect a sacred infant from the machinations of a wicked queen (Jean Marsh).
